I found a pretty tranquil place to hang out near the art museum on campus. It’s got a bunch of trees so there is shade all day long. There is also a couple of benches and a fountain.

Since I took today’s earlier photo over the summer, I feel I cheated you out of my art. So, here lies Gampel Pavilion. Gampel is UConn’s big arena for our famous basketball teams. It has a shiny dome.

I took this picture while on vacation in Ocean City, Maryland. I like the idea of the rotating beach. I just wonder how it spins.

This is just some walkway on campus. If only it were yellow it would lead me to the wizard and he could tell me what the hell I should do with my life. Here endeth the self-pitying.

This is my inaugural post on this blog. My name is Alex. I am a student at the University Of Connecticut. My hobby is taking pictures, but I don’t have the motivation to do it as much as I want to, so this blog is my reason. I will post one picture a day for at least a year. Or else. Please tell me how you like my pictures or how you don’t like them. I’m trying to grow through this. So, here we go…

This is a sculpture on the UConn campus. It’s kinda tilted.
